Chamber Vision

The Chamber is made up of members throughout our business community that are willing to give of themselves to help the area grow . “It is the vision of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce to determine the mutual needs of Area Citizens and promote local business, industry, tourism and the citizens of the County and the trade area. Coordinate committees to effect actions, programs, and projects to meet these needs.”

Chamber Mission

The Mission of this Chamber shall include but not be limited to the following:

To promote the general welfare of the Chamber’s administrative areas by stimulating more interest in the retail shopping businesses, area manufacturing, education, legislation, environment, tourism, recreation, cultural needs, area planning.

To build stronger relationships with businesses in the county to enhance efforts to promote tourism and business development.

To creatively promote Marshall County as a fun and friendly, high quality place to visit, a better place to live.

To promote tourism in our county and region, enhance tourism expenditures in our local economy, recreation organizations in the promotion of local attractions and events.

To enhance tourism through the promotion of festivals, cultural art events, attractions, parks, etc.

To improve the quality of tourism promotion on the Chamber website

To identify potential attractions and develop proposals to make them available to public.

To maximize the opportunity to attract annual visitors to The National Sand Bass Festival and Lake Texoma events, our small but friendly cities and historic sites in the area by advertising in State publications and on line through our website.

To access funding entities to obtain increased financial support for local tourism-related projects, such as planned Billboards on Hwy 35 and 70 to entice tourists to our area.

To build stronger relationships with businesses in cities and State to enhance efforts to promote tourism and business development in the county.

This chamber shall at all times be wholly and strictly non-political. It shall take no part in any political campaign for or against any political party or candidate of any party.
